What You’ll Do

Ensures all operations procedures are followed safely and effectively, identifies, and recommends needed changes to Manager on the standardized processes for the functional area.
Guide workers in daily operations, and monitors to ensure a high degree of productivity, safety, service, and quality.
Resolves workers relations issues that arise in assigned functional area.
Monitor dock operation to ensure on time delivery of all customer orders with accuracy and quality.
Responsible for safety throughout warehouse floor. Instill “safety first” mindset within group.
Follow warehouse schedules and ensure shifts are adequately staffed.
Evaluate warehouse needs for daily assignment of duties, adjustment resources as required.
Oversee warehouse sanitation
Other duties as assigned by Manager.

Qualifications

Able to lead a team with aa focus on Logistics and Dock operations
Minimum of a 5 years of experience in a warehouse
Minimum of 5 years of inventory experience
Minimum of 5year of using forklift effectively and safely
Able to stand/walk 70% of the day, including up/downstairs
Excellent organizational skills with a strong presence on warehouse floor to continuously drive improvements
Able work in temperatures as cold as -30 degrees Fahrenheit

Physical Requirements: The physical requirements is that you must be able to carry, lift and/or move up to 60-80 pounds
