What You’ll Do

As a Contract Project Manager – Warehouse Transition at our Cleveland facility, you will lead the planning, execution, and oversight of a new warehouse setup and operational transition. This is a 4-month contract position responsible for ensuring a seamless move, setting up systems, and implementing processes to support ongoing warehouse operations.

  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and milestones for the warehouse transition.

  • Oversee the setup of warehouse operations, including inventory systems, shipping/receiving processes, and workflow organization.

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including warehouse staff, IT, logistics, and management to ensure alignment on project goals.

  • Monitor progress, identify potential risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.

  • Train and guide warehouse staff on new systems, processes, and procedures.

  • Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and company standards throughout the transition.

  • Report regularly to management on project status, challenges, and key deliverables.

  • Support post-transition troubleshooting and adjustments to optimize warehouse efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field preferred.

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in project management, warehouse operations, or logistics.

  • Proven experience managing large-scale operational transitions or warehouse setups.

  • Strong knowledge of warehouse processes, inventory systems, and supply chain logistics.

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and project management tools.

  • Ability to lift up to 25–50 pounds occasionally if needed for warehouse walkthroughs and inspections.
