What You’ll Do
Inventory Control & Quality Assurance Manager
As the Inventory Control & Quality Assurance Manager, you will serve as the primary driver of inventory accuracy and operational integrity across the facility. This role is centered on strengthening inventory management systems, enforcing quality standards, and ensuring compliance with food safety and regulatory requirements. You will maintain a strong floor presence to lead warehouse teams, resolve issues in real time, and build a culture of precision and accountability.
- Develop, implement, and continuously refine inventory control procedures to maximize accuracy, reduce shrinkage, and maintain optimal stock levels across all product categories.
- Design and enforce cycle count programs, inventory reconciliation processes, and root cause analysis protocols to identify and eliminate discrepancies.
- Lead daily, weekly, and monthly inventory audits, ensuring all variances are investigated, documented, and resolved in a timely manner.
- Oversee quality assurance programs and ensure full compliance with BRCGS, USDA, FDA, OSHA, and all applicable regulatory standards.
- Lead and coordinate annual BRCGS audits and certification processes, serving as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies during internal and external audits.
- Maintain a consistent, hands-on floor presence to monitor inventory practices firsthand, support warehouse staff, and enforce alignment with company policies and procedures.
- Partner closely with warehouse teams to deliver targeted training on inventory accuracy, quality standards, and proper handling procedures, driving accountability at every level.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, procurement, and logistics to ensure seamless inventory integrity and consistent adherence to quality requirements throughout the supply chain.
- Analyze inventory data and key performance metrics to identify trends, forecast needs, and recommend process improvements that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and cost control.
- Manage inventory-related documentation, ensuring all records are complete, accurate, and audit-ready at all times.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
5+ years of experience in inventory management and/or quality assurance in food processing/distribution.
2+ years in a lead role overseeing inventory and quality programs preferred.
Strong understanding of global food safety standards and inventory management principles.
Exceptional organizational and analytical skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills across all organizational levels.
Hands-on leadership style with the ability to maintain a strong presence on the warehouse floor.
